Amanda Olvera gave a brief overview of transit's June Report.

X. Transit New Business

A. Transit FY24 Budget

1. Transit FY24 Budget

Amanda Olvera gave a summary of the FY24 Transit Budget and explained significant changes.

B. Resolution Authorizing the Transaction to Purchase the Transit Center Land

Amanda Olvera informed the committee that the Resolution was not received in time, no discussion was had.

XIII. Fuel Usage and Overtime

1. Fuel Usage Report

Eric Gibson noted that fuel usage is at 82%. He reiterated that this is high due to all departments except Transit and Sheriff being billed under this line item.

2. Overtime Report

Eric Gibson noted that overtime is at 36% for the fiscal year. He stated that this should stay pretty stable as call outs generally account for the most overtime and are for stop signs, trees down, etc.

XIV. Highway New Business

A. Review of Highway Budget FY24

1. Highway Budget FY24

Eric Gibson went through budget information for the 2024 Fiscal Year for Highway, Highway Restricted, County Bridge, Federal Aid Matching, and County Motor Fuel Funds.'

XV. Highway Old Business

A. Gardner Golf Cart Ordinance Request to use Main Street

1. Motion to Deny Request

Eric Gibson noted that he had emails/memos from reviewing the request. He recommended that this request not be approved, Sheriff Briley recommended this not be approved, State's Attorney Russ Baker recommended this not be approved and Mary Kucharz contacted the County Insurance and they stated the County would not be covered if this was approved. The request was denied by the committee.

B. Ridge Road Update

Eric Gibson stated that Ridge Road construction has been completed. All that is left is to wrap up the paperwork.

C. DuPont Road Bridge Update

Eric Gibson stated that the DuPont Road Bridge project is going well and is ahead of schedule.

D. Brisbin Road Bridge Update

Eric Gibson stated the Brisbon Road and Bridge project is going well. He noted that this is the first time during a construction project that we are need rain to completed some action items.

E. Grundy County Mobility Plan Update

Eric Gibson gave a brief update on where things stand with the Mobility Plan with CDM Smith.

F. 2023 General Maintenance Project Update

Eric Gibson stated that Tar & Chip starts next week. Paving has been completed. Cape Seal has been cancelled.

XVI. Budget Reporting

1. FY23 Budget Tracking

Mary Kucharz said that there is nothing of importance to report, budget is on track.
