IV. Claims 

1. Board Member Vouchers - Total 

The committee discussed the untimely manner that a board member is turning in vouchers for payment for attending meetings. Much feedback was given to Chairman Counterman. A vote was made to pay for the meetings outside of the 60 day period for the last time. Further discussion will be held at the next Finance meeting regarding language in the Grundy County Board Rules & Procedures.

V. Finance Director 

1. Finance Report-Discussion

Matt Melvin updated the committee on the County FY23; audit presentation to County Board in February or March. Also included the CIP, other projects and video gaming numbers.

2. Dec General Fund Monthly Budget-Discussion

At 8.49% through FY24 the General Fund revenues total $658,462; expenditures $1,327,217.

3. ARP Finance-Discussion

Matt presented the updated ARP Request List; two changes were made since the last presentation.

4. Video Gambling-Discussion 

Matt provided a summary of video gaming activity within Grundy County taxing bodies, followed by the 12-month report from the IL Gaming Board for each. Revenue generated in unincorporated Grundy County was $57,998.62.

VII. New Business 

Alec MacDonald told the committee that Dave Ostrander designed a tracking system for county expenditures that he is using to look at all expenses in hopes to find cost savings. It will be presented in the next few weeks.
