3. IGA Between Cook County and Grundy County

Sheriff Briley told the committee that with the jail inmate count down he is considering housing Cook County inmates at $65 per day, starting with 10 inmates. The IGA can be cancelled with 30 day notice from either party. The committee positively recommended the IGA to the County Board.

5. Purchase of Unmarked Sheriff Vehicle-Action

The committee discussed the purchase, already made in January, of the 2023 Ford Explorer in the amount of $43,298.26. The vehicle was purchased under State bid pricing. The committee positively recommend the purchase to the County Board.
