V. Finance Director 

1. Finance Report

Matt Melvin reviewed the highlights of the report including current projects, County Expansion, Jail Plumbing and Courthouse HVAC. He also discussed the FY25 Budget Timeline and the State Planning & Research Grant Funds Application.

2. General Fund Monthly Budget

Melvin told the committee that the General Fund is 33.15% through FY24. Revenues are at 23.39%; expenditures are at 28.97%.

3. Professional Services Update

The report reflected the only expenditure from these budgeted lines was Court Appointed Attorneys of $7482.25.

VI. ETSB Report

VII. New Business 

1. Animal Control Camera Quote and Layout

The bid was approved from Heartland Business Systems in the amount of $10,481. Between this and the painting project ($6725) the $15,000 budgeted was exceeded and will be amended.

The bid from West Flooring ($14,942.00) was approved and the unbudgeted project will be paid for by the Sheriff ($8000) with the remainder from Courthouse Maintenance and Circuit Clerk Operation & Administration Fund.
