Eric Gibson noted that fuel usage was at 26.9% for Highway.

XIV. Highway New Business 

A. Variance Granting John White Relief from Access Control Regulations for Entrance Spacing - Minooka Road 

1. Motion to Table

Eric Gibson and Mary Kucharz discussed with the committee that this property is within a mile and a half from the Village of Minooka and that the Village of Minooka has to approve the property owners splitting of the plot prior to approval can be given for the entrance permit. The committee decided to table this motion until approval from Village of Minooka has been given.

1. Joint Funding Agreement for Federally Funded Construction - Gardner Road Bridge Bundle

Eric Gibson stated that this Joint Funding Agreement is for the Gardner Road Bridge Bundle and would have Federal money in the amount of $800,000 and Motor Fuel Tax in the amount of $200,000.

Eric Gibson noted that this Resolution goes along with the Joint Funding Agreement for Gardner Road. This is used to approve the use of $200,000 in Motor Fuel Tax.

XV. Highway Old Business 

A. 2024 Bridge Projects Update 

Eric Gibson handed out a map outlining all of the bridge projects to be completed this year. He noted that the Braceville & Carbon Hill Bridges and Grand Ridge Bridges are scheduled for letting on April 26, 2024 and the Gardner Road Bridges are scheduled for letting in June.

Mary Kucharz noted that there is nothing out of the ordinary to report for the budgets.
