Coal City Public Library District Board of Trustees met April 30.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Board President Debi Trotter at 4:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Board Secretary Carol Crawford called the roll.

Trustees present: Carol Crawford, Renee McLuckie, Steve Smith, Betsy Stahler, Debi Trotter, and Dean Vigna

Trustees absent: Becky Sipple

Others present: none

PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public present to comment.

PURPOSE OF MEETING

To discuss the Library Director's Annual Evaluation (information item)

5 ILCS 120/2 (1) "The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity."

Motion made by Smith and seconded by Stahler that: the Board move into closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) to discuss the Library Director annual evaluation.

Motion carried by roll call vote.

Ayes: Crawford, McLuckie, Smith, Stahler, Vigna, and Trotter Nays: none

Absent: Sipple

Entered into closed session at 4:32 p.m.

Returned to open session at 4:45 p.m.

ACTION

Motion made by Smith and seconded by McLuckie to approve the final draft of the Library Director annual evaluation.

Motion carried by roll call vote.

Ayes: Smith, Stahler, Vigna, Crawford, McLuckie, Trotter

Nays: none

Absent: Sipple

ADJOURNMENT

Motion made by Stahler and seconded by Vigna that: the Board adjourn.

Motion carried by roll call vote.

Ayes: Stahler, Vigna, Crawford, McLuckie, Smith, and Trotter Nays: none

Absent: Sipple

Meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
