At the MCHS District #111 Board of Education regular meeting on June 12, 2024, the Board:
● There was no public comment.
● The Board recognized the following individuals:
o Maya Ledesma- 5th Place Finish in the 3200M Run at the IHSA Girls Track & Field State Finals
o Dejay Smith- 3rd Place Finish in the 110M Hurdles at the IHSA Boys Track & Field State Finals
● Dr. Schiffbauer presented the Bullying Report for the 2023-2024 school year.
● Dr. Pakowski presented the 2023-2024 SAT testing data.
● Approved Press Packet 114.
● Approved the Consolidated District Plan.
● Approved the MOU with DLA.
● Approved the contract with Nicholas and Associates.
● Approved the proposal for Geotech Inc to complete land surveying services for the South Campus in the amount of $26,500 and for the Central Campus in the amount of $8,500.
● Approved the proposal from Geocon Professional Services to complete geotechnical engineering services in the total amount of $45,615.
● Approved the out-of-District tuition for the 2024-2025 school year in the amount of $16,382.73.
● Approved the purchase of Xello in the amount of $11,955.
● Approved the building usage procedures and fees as presented.
● Approved the purchase of Red Rover, a substitute teacher management system for a total cost of $11,570 dollars for the first year and approximately $8,820 dollars the years following.
● Approved the memorandum of understanding with the MEA with regard to the support staff summer hours.
● Approved the resignations of the following:
