Cheryl Elizabeth Biniak, age 67, of Braceville, IL, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Born on September 24, 1957, in Winston-Salem, NC to Wayne and Shirley Poteat, Cheryl served in the United States Air Force as a nurse. In 2018, she married Daniel J. Biniak in Plainfield.

Known for her love of the outdoors, Cheryl was fondly called "The Crappie Queen" due to her passion for fishing. She also enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, tending to her garden, and spending time on the beach with her family. Her dog, Lexi, held a special place in her heart, alongside her close-knit family.

Survived by her mother, husband, children, grandchildren, and sisters, Cheryl was preceded in death by her father. Visitation and a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Ferrari Funeral Services in Coal City, with Rev. Dr. Jay Regennitter officiating. Cremation rites will follow the service.
