Village of Minooka Planning & Zoning Commission met May 13.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

6. Old Business  

a) Continuation of Public Hearing on the question of whether to recommend approval of  an amendment to Section 5-11-6(E) of the Village’s Zoning Ordinance to permit  aggregate sign area variances up to 2,372 ft2. 

b) Continuation of Public Hearing and Consideration of Case 2023-3 on the question of  whether to recommend approval of a zoning variance from Section 5-13-6 of the Village  of Minooka Zoning Ordinance relating to the limit on the aggregate total square feet on  signs. 

7. New Business 

a) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2025-2 regarding proposed text amendment  to amend Chapter 13 (signs) to define and allow on- and off-premises combination  signs in the commercial districts as a conditional permitted use. 

b) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2023-3 regarding a map amendment to  rezone certain property from M-2 (Manufacturing District) to B-2 (Commercial District)  (Holiday Inn combination sign lot). 

c) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2023-3 regarding a conditional use permit for  an off-premises combination sign in the B-2 (Commercial District) (Holiday Inn  combination sign lot). 

d) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2025-1 regarding sideyard setback variance 311 Wabasso Place. 

e) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2025-2 regarding proposed text amendment  to amend Section 5-8-3 (M1 Manufacturing District) to add automobile and truck sales  establishments as a conditional permitted use. 

f) Public hearing and Consideration of Case 2025-2 regarding a conditional use permit to  authorize a truck sales establishment on certain property in the M-2 (Manufacturing)  district (Prime trucking).
