Information and Discussion

Matt called Spring Grove Nursery about planting trees on the property. He recommended 2in to 2 1/2in Hackberry trees or 3in Green Spire Linden trees, both priced around 775 a tree. I have worked with them in the past when I was principal at MVK and Jamie, the owner, would love to do an Arbor Day event this spring with our students and they would provide us one donated tree. We will purchase two trees for a total of 3.

B. I applied for the SOS IL State Library Grant. Last year we received $850

C. Any changes to the Triple I conference reservations need to be done by 10/15. I received informal invitations so far from Studio (Vezzetti’s) for lunch on Friday and Stifel Friday night for a reception @ 5:30. I plan to finalize dinner reservations for 10 Pin on November 22, 2025. We will have a pizza buffet, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages.

D. Matt and I started to talk about the work to be done on the front of the building with our $300,000 WC loan. He is going to get some preliminary numbers together and some companies that will work on commercial soffit/fascia as well as lighting and signage. We will then schedule a Building & Grounds committee meeting to go over some plans/ideas.

Christmas Party - any ideas?
