Vernon L. “Pete” Dolan, aged 89, of Diamond, IL, passed away on March 5, 2025. Born on October 2, 1935, Pete served in the United States Army during the Korean War and had a passion for airplanes. Throughout his life, he held various jobs, including working at Bailey Printing and Publishing, Ace Hardware, and Commonwealth Edison. Pete is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother, and sister, along with extended family members and friends.
A visitation is scheduled for March 12, 2025, at Ferrari Funeral Services in Coal City, with burial following at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood with full military honors.
