In an Oct. 12 Facebook post, Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) announced traveling office hours.

“Attention all my friends in the Plano & Newark area! My office will be traveling to locations near you!" She then listed the scheduled places and times.

Tuesday, October 18: Plano Community Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 19: Newark Community Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rezin also had a small town tour recently, starting in Yorkville. It ended on Oct. 7 in Seneca.

In a Sept. 15 Facebook post, Rezin shared her experience at the Highway Naming Ceremony for Dennis M. Neary. "It was an honor and a privilege to host the Highway Naming Ceremony for the late Dennis M Neary yesterday at Campbell Park in Coal City," Rezin said. "Thank you to everyone who shared efforts to make this event such a wonderful tribute. Gold Bless you, Dennis Neary and the Neary Family! #38thSenateDistrict #CoalCity #RoadNaming #IllinoisRoute113 #CoalCityPolice #CoalCityFire #CoalCityEMS #GrundyCounty #75thRepresentativeDistrict."

In August, she recognized a Morris student who won a SkillsUSA championship in criminal justice.

“He’s a great young man," Mayor Chris Brown said to the Morris Herald-News. " e’s done a tremendous job at all of these competitions, and it’s just great to have kids that are doing well and excelling at the things they want to be doing in life. So, we are very fortunate, and we are hoping we can even get him down the line.”

Rezin sent a shout-out to Osborn, writing 'Congratulations, Robert Osborn!' in a Facebook post.
