Wauponsee Township Board met Aug. 9.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
The regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees of Wauponsee Township of Grundy County, the State of Illinois was held on the above date at the Wauponsee Township Road and Bridge Office for the purpose of conducting normal business. Supervisor Fannin opened the meeting at 7:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag followed immediately.

Approval of Minutes
Meeting minutes for the July12th meeting was presented. A motion to approve the minutes as presented was made by Trustee Romines and seconded by Trustee Chandler. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Approval of Claims
A motion was made by Trustee Romines and seconded by Trustee Chandler to authorize the Wauponsee Township Fund claims as presented by the Treasurer and the bank end of the period summary statement.

Supervisor Fannin reported the following:
• The second tax levy disbursement was as follows:
Town Fund $815.48

Road Commissioner’s Report
• Renting a mower/bush cutter on a per hour of use basis.
• Garage doors at 35 E Southmor Road have been painted.
• Culvert project on Dwight Road completed.
• Chamlin Dr. culvert replaced.
• Mower was repainted.
• Tree trimming starts next week as well as ash tree removal.
• Additional information learned at the Road Commissioners Seminar indicates the ROW on all roads is 40 feet as originally believed. The new information is being transmitted to the Township lawyer.

Being no further business, Trustee Romines made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Chandler seconded the motion, which carried on a voice vote.
