The Common Council may convene in a closed session, as authorized by Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(g), for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel who is rendering oral advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is involved. The Common Council may reconvene in open session to discuss and take action on the subject matter discussed in the closed session.
