Report: Braceville spent $9,374 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Braceville School District 75 is up 35 percent from five years ago, according to a Grundy Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Grundy County school district spent $6,969 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $9,374 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 174 to 122.

Braceville's spending in 2016-17 was 28 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
