Mazon-Verona-Kinsman Elementary School District 2C issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.
Principal’s Update: Attendance is a key component to student success. When students are absent they lose the opportunity to participate in class discussions, ask their teacher questions, work on group projects, and receive help from their peers. Here are a few ways to maximize the time students spend in the class. When scheduling doctor appointments, the best times are before or after school and during the lunch period. Establishing a nighttime routine helps ensure that students wake up on time in the morning and are ready to learn. Lastly, encourage your child to get involved at school. We offer several athletic and academic extracurricular opportunities at MVK. Students who participate in these activities are excited to come to school to be eligible to participate.
