Businesslaw

Coal City High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.

On Monday November 19th, students from Mrs. Malsky's Business Law class visited the Grundy County Courthouse. The students were able to tour the courthouse and have a question and answer session with Judge Robert Marsaglia. The class was also able to attend a ceremony for the unveiling of a Abraham Lincoln Portrait in honor of the bicentennial for the State of Illinois. Each county in Illinois is being presented a portrait to be put on display at courthouses and county buildings throughout Illinois. The students were able to see the unveiling at the courthouse and even got a picture taken with the portrait.
