Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
We’ve been getting ready for winter by reading winter books and creating winter art projects. We also wrote about our favorite part about winter.
Each day, we do fun activities during Daily 5! We practice reading books during read to self and read to someone. In the word work center, we practice spelling words and word wall words. Also, we use the iPads to read books. In the writing center, we write stories and make lists.
In math, we like to practice addition and subtraction fact cards.
