Village of Coal City issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
Waste Management is picking up garbage and recycling today in Coal City. However, Carbon Hill and Prairie Oak Estates in Coal City will not have service tomorrow due to the extreme cold temperature. Service may resume either Thursday or Friday.
