Morris home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Morris fell by $3,750 while total sales remained unchanged with 24 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,000 - a 2.4% decrease over the $156,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Morris in August 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Morris for 2017 was $3,764. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,724. This marks an increase of 1.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
