State Rep. Lindsay Parkhurst (R-Kankakee) has scheduled her 2019 Job Fair on July 19 in Kankakee.
Hosted by the Bradley Police Department in the Cameo Room of the Knights of Columbus, the three-hour event is slated to begin at 9 a.m.
According to a Facebook post, representatives from organizations such as the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Illinois Department of Corrections, Kankakee Community College, American School Bus and Oasis Medical Services are scheduled to be on hand.
A two-term representative, Parkhurst has served on such committees as appropriations-general services, judiciary-civil, judiciary-criminal and restorative justice.
The 79th District includes Kankakee, Will and Grundy counties.
