Illinois Education Association Minooka Region issued the following announcement on July 17.
The following is a joint statement from the Kaneland Education Assocation (KEA) and Kaneland Community Unified School District #302:
The Kaneland Community Unit School District #302 Board of Education (BOE) and the Kaneland Education Association (KEA) have reached tentative agreement on a collective bargaining agreement. The tentative five-year agreement will be in effect from the 2019-2020 school year through the 2023-2024 school year. The BOE and KEA will each be meeting to ratify the tentative agreement in the coming weeks. The details will be presented upon final approval by both parties. The BOE and KEA would like to thank the members of the bargaining teams for their time, effort and energy in developing a fair and fiscally responsible contract.
