By Press release submission | Aug 20, 2019

Volunteering

Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.

Coal City Schools are excited to bring back their community program called the Coaler G-Force. This year they are even more excited as they add Coal City Middle School to the list of schools in which our G-Force members can greet students! They are looking for senior citizens and grandparents who are interested in greeting students to create a welcoming atmosphere as students start each day. As the year progresses, they will be having additional programs for them to participate in. The approximate times of duty for the G-Force members will range from 7:45 - 8:30 a.m., depending on the schools. If you have any questions, please contact Principal Tracy Carlson at tcarlson@coalcityschools.org The link to sign up for G-Force is:

You will be contacted once you've signed up.
