Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
Wednesday, August 28 - 7-8:15AM
Thursday, August 29 - 3:30-7PM
CCMS Chorus Room
Students will audition on a first come, first serve basis. You do not need to stay the full time.
Each student will be asked to sing 30-60 seconds of a song of their choice.
A musical theatre song is preferred, but not required. Any song will work.
After they have sung, they may be asked to act out a brief scene. They will be given a character from the show and asked to act out their part.

One of the biggest questions we receive every year is, "What if I'm playing a sport?" Thanks to the coaches and administration, we have always been able to comprise a schedule that allows the students to do both! When scheduling conflicts arise, we are almost always able to figure out a compromise that works for both groups.
