V. Audit Presentation - Mack & Associates

Tawnya Mack, Mack & Associates, PC presented the Annual Financial Report dated November 30, 2019. Mack also reviewed the memorandum that summarizes their comments (8) and suggestions regarding opportunities for strengthening internal controls and operating efficiency.

At 19.4% through FY20, General Fund revenues are at 15%, expenditures 15%.

A. Sheriff Vehicle Cost Analysis

Matt Melvin presented the cost analysis that showed the five year difference of beginning to purchase the vehicles outright versus financing as has been done in past years. The predicted annual cost savings is $15-$20k.

The committee recommended the matter to the County Board for discussion purposes, due to it not being on the agenda for action.
