Chris Mehochko reported that he continues to be under budget for FY20. Discussions were held regarding the effects of COVID-19 on the schools and schedules.

Mary Kucharz stated that site visits have been made to all departments to ensure proper health/saftey needs are being met for the employees as they return to work beginning May 26, 2020.

C. AFLAC Insurance for Employees
Two new AFLAC policies, short-term disability and critical illness, are being offered to all part-time and full-time employees. These can begin at open enrollment by payroll deduction. Further information will be given to the employees.

D. GIS Director Educational Assistance Request
Dave Ostrander attended the meeting to request approval for a course he would like to take at a cost of $2634. Kucharz stated that the Personnel Manual reads that 50% will be covered. Ostrander told the committee that he has funds in his budget to cover the cost.
