A discussion was held regarding the special use ordinance expiring in 2019 and no request for renewal until May of 2020. Microgrid Energy requested a one year extension to June 2021. The consensus of the committee, along with the Assistant States Attorney, was to positively recommend the request to the County Board without going through the application process again.

1. Direction for Changes to Section 8-14 and Permitted Uses
Heidi Miller discussed the recommendation from the ZBA regarding potential text amendments that may be added to the 2030 Grundy County Comprehensive plan. Miller stated that other amendments will be brought before the committee for consideration this summer.
2. FY21 Budget Summary
Miller discussed the requested FY21 budgets for ERCO, Land Use, ZBA and Development Engineering Fees Fund. Reductions were made where possible.
