The campaign season is in the final stretch and Republicans seeking to institute change in the state of Illinois are being called to work.
State GOP Chairman Tim Scheider is calling for an end to government overreach and the financial issues that haunt the state, most notably leading to the loss of population. He opined it would take a productive effort and highlighted the rollout of a new program called "Races to Watch."
The program provides information for supporters to see which candidates have a good chance to knock off a Democrat office holder as well as identifying Republican incumbents facing a well-funded challenger. Scheider said it is important to hold Republicans seats and reduce the Democrat majority in the state's General Assembly. He referred to "Races to Watch" as a tool to maximize efforts for change.
“These races will all be decided by low, single-digit margins and they need your help," Scheider said.
