Greater Channahon Minooka Area Chamber Of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
The Grundy County EMA department has asked the Chamber to let local business owners know who are utilizing tents or other outdoor shelters/coverings this weekend that the National Weather Service has issued a medium to high confidence level on winds for Saturday. Saturday afternoon winds are expected to be 15-25 mph gusting to around 30 mph, so businesses should prepare accordingly.
