The Morris City Council recently approved licenses for three businesses, one for opening a new shop and two for changes related to existing markets.
Morris Judiciary and License Committee Chairman Jake Duvick presented the licenses to the council to be approved, WCSJ News reported in January.
The new license is for a boutique being opened by Maria Vera on 2nd Avenue, Duvick said in audio posted by WCSJ News.
Additionally, Robert Schwiesow, owner of American Heritage Garage LLC, an automotive restoration shop on Park Boulevard, was approved for a business license enabling him to operate “the office part of the business out of his home,” Duvick told the council.
The third license was related to a change in ownership for Bedford Sales on Bedford Road.
Randy Miller received approval for a license to do business as Bedford Sales and Outdoors LLC, permitting him to continue operating the business under new ownership.
