COAL CITY COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 1: Partnership with Sunshine Garden Center

Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Apr. 6. 

Over spring break, the Science Club transplanted over 500 tomato seedlings into individual pots.The club intends to sell these planted tomato plants to raise funds for their research prairie and next year's Science Night. Sunshine Nursery has continued its generous partnership with the club and will allow members to sell the tomato plants in their parking lot on May 8th.  There are 3 varieties available including heirloom, Roma, and beefsteak.  They'll be sold for $2.99 each.
