Mazon-Verona-Kinsman Elementary School District 2C issued the following announcement on May. 7.
On May 3, 2021, the Mazon-Verona-Kinsman ESD 2C School Board reorganized following the April 6, 2021, election. After those elected on April 6, 2021, were seated in office, there became a vacancy on the Board. Qualified individuals seeking appointment to the Board for a two -year term, until April 2023, should send a letter of interest to Mrs. Dillow, Superintendent, 1013 North St, Mazon, IL 60444, postmarked by May 21, 2021, or by email to ndillow@mvkmavericks.org by 11:59 pm on May 21, 2021. The Board of Education will conduct interviews at a special meeting to be held in early June. Qualifications for a school board member are: US citizen, resident of Illinois and of the school district for at least one year preceding election/appointment, at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, and NOT a school trustee.
