Coal City Public Library District Board of Trustees Met April 21.

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Board President Lois Phillips at 6:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Board Secretary Carol Crawford called the roll.

Trustees present:

Carol Crawford         Renee McLuckie        Debi Trotter

Becky Sipple            Lois Phillips

Dean Vigna              Steve Smith

Trustees absent: None 

Others present: None

PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public present to comment.

PURPOSE OF MEETING

To discuss the Library Director’s Annual Evaluation (information item)  

5 ILCS 120/2 (1) “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.”

Motion made by Smith and seconded by McLuckie that:

the Board move into closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) to discuss the Library Director’s Annual Evaluation.

Motion carried by roll call vote.

Ayes: McLuckie, Sipple, Smith, Trotter, Vigna, Crawford, Phillips 

Nays: None

Absent: None

Entered into closed session at 6:31 p.m.

Returned to open session at 8:36 p.m.

No action was taken.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion made by Trotter and seconded by Smith that: 

the Board adjourn.

Motion carried by roll call vote.
