Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on May. 19.
1st Graders have worked so hard this school year. It was definitely a year to remember!
To celebrate all of their hard work we have been doing an ABC countdown. Each day we celebrate with a fun activity. “A” was Art Day, “B” was BINGO, etc. Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying ABC Countdown.
We also had the opportunity to go over to the Elementary School for Step-up Day. The kiddos were able to walk around to see classrooms such as art, music, 2nd-grade classrooms, PE, etc. They met Mrs. Kenney, Mrs. Trotter, and Mr. Craig along with some other teachers. They also were able to eat popsicles and play on the playground!
