Denny Christensen called the special meeting to order at 9:00 AM

Roll call

Members Present:

Terri Balcom, Denny Christensen, Brad Male, Jerry Olsen, Ashlee Schultz, Lauren Vitko

Absent: Jamie Wilkey

Pledge of Allegiance

Public Comment - all made statements regarding Covid mask mandate.

Bryan Bodine, Brian Manzello, Pete Millette, Tawnya Mack, Jen Smykowski

Motion to update/amend the Gardner CCSD 72C return to learn plan regarding COVID mitigation measures into three separate motions.

1st: Olsen, 2nd: Male

Ayes: Olsen, Male, Balcom, Christensen, Schutz, Vitko

Nays: none

Absent: Wilkey

Motion passed

Motion to stay the course of the current return to learn plan regarding COVID with the masking of all students and staff until the appellate court decision is made.

1st: Male, 2nd: Balcom

Ayes: none

Absent: Wilkey

Motion failed

Motion to remove weekly Covid testing for unvaccinated staff mandate.

1st: Olsen, 2nd: Male

Motion passed

Motion to not require quarantine of close contacts to a positive Covid case regardless if vaccinated or unvaccinated. Continue to quarantine Covid positive cases.
