Coal City Public Library District Board of Trustees met May 2.

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Board President Debi Trotter at 3:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Board Secretary Carol Crawford called the roll.
Trustees present:

PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public present to comment.
PURPOSE OF MEETING
To discuss the Library Director’s Annual Evaluation (information item)
5 ILCS 120/2 (1) “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.”
Motion made by Smith and seconded by McLuckie that:
the Board move into closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2 (1) to discuss the Annual Director Evaluation.
Motion carried by roll call vote.
Ayes: Stahler, Vigna, Crawford, McLuckie, Smith, and Trotter
Nays: None
Absent: Sipple
Entered into closed session at 3:01 p.m.
Returned to open session at 3:50 p.m.
No action was taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion made by Smith and seconded by McLuckie that:
the Board adjourn.
Motion carried by roll call vote.
