Rezin: 'The Grundy County Land Use Department is hosting a free paper shredding event'

Senator Sue Rezin announced details of a free shred day in Grundy County through a July 10 Facebook post.

"Needing to shred some old documents??? Well, You are in luck The Grundy County Land Use Department is hosting a free paper shredding event July 13, 2022 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM located at 310 East Dupont Road (parking lot north of the Grundy County Animal Control Building.) Please note: There is a 2 boxes limit and no plastics or metals. If you have any questions, please call 815-941-3228. #recycle #GrundyCounty #saveatree #38thSenateDistrict," Rezin said.

She shared a link to a Facebook post by the city of Morris announcing the free shred day.

The legislature may not be in session, but Rezin is staying busy. In recent weeks, she's visited the Grundy County Agricultural Fair. 

"The 2022 Grundy County Ag Fair was marked as a success in my books!" Rezin wrote in a July 5 Facebook post. "Thank you to those who helped organize and stopped to chat with us at my booth!"

At the end of June, she also attended the 2022 Health Summit hosted by the National Foundation for Women Legislators. 

“As an Executive Board member of the NFWL, I participated in the 2022 Health Summit in Washington, D.C.,” she wrote on Facebook.
