The City Council of the City of Vienna met in regular session at Vienna City Hall with the following members and guest:

There being a quorum, Mayor Pro-tem Owen called the meeting of the Vienna City Council to order at 6:30 p.m.
NEW BUSINESS
Alderman Racey made a motion to Authorize and Approve the Omnibus Consent Agenda consisting of the July 6, 2022 council meeting minutes, the Warrant ($29,449.48) and the June Treasurer's Report. Alderman Tuey seconded the motion. All in favor, motion carried.
Alderman Pitts made a motion to Authorize and Approve Resolution 22-07, A Resolution requesting temporary closure of streets for the annual fall festival parade through the Illinois Department of Transportation for Saturday, October 1, 2022. Alderman Moore seconded the motion. All in favor, motion carried.
Alderman Moore made a motion to Authorize and Approve Ordinance 22-04, An Ordinance for the City of Vienna, IL, Appropriating funds for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Alderman Tuey seconded the motion. All in favor, motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT Joseph Emery was present to announce an Art Opening event to take place Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Art Gallery off the Square. The event would feature local and regional artists, craftsmen and writers. Alderman Racey and Owen both complimented Emery on the recent painting in front of the art gallery on the east wall.

Alderman Moore said she was waiting on an email for costs on renting inflatables for the fall fest event.
Supt. Racey discussed extending natural gas utilities on Hwy 45 North to Dry Systems contingent on their boards approval. Racey also mentioned dirt work needed for the installation of Brayden King memorial playground equipment at the ballpark.
Alisa Sowers, Depot Coordinator said she was contacted by an individual organizing a Friends of Tunnel Hill Trail group that inquired about using the park amphitheater. Sowers also said the depot was offered a donation of a train set display.
Mayor Pro-tem Owen informed council of the A/C unit replacement at city hall.
At 7:01 p.m. Alderman Pitts made a motion to go out of Regular Session into Executive Session For Collective Negotiations between the City of Vienna and Local Union 50 as per 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2). Motion seconded by Alderman Tuey.
At 7:35 p.m. Alderman Moore made a motion to resume the Regular Session meeting. Seconded by Alderman Tuey.
As there was no further business to discuss, Alderman Tuey made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Alderman Pitts. Mayor Pro-tem Owen adjourned the meeting at 7:35 p.m.
