Rep. Jackie Haas recently encouraged constituents to sound off on what's keeping Illinois residents from good-paying jobs in the state.
“What do you think is the most important issue preventing access to good-paying jobs and opportunities in Illinois? Let your voice be heard. Take our Economic Opportunity Survey at the link below,” Haas said.
In her Facebook post, Haas shared a link to the survey for constituents to fill out. The short survey asks participants to choose from four options.
Haas also issued a statement after the July 4 shooting in Highland Park.
“Our hearts are with the families of the victims, survivors and witnesses,” she said, according to Kankakee Times.
In June, she spoke out about the increase in gas prices, Kankakee Times reported.
"In addition to paying the highest effective tax rates in the nation, Illinois families are now facing yet another financial burden as gas prices continue to rise. It's time for Democrat lawmakers to step up and help us make the structural changes necessary to bring lasting relief to our residents," Haas posted.
