Village of Minooka Village Board met Sept. 27.

Village President, Ric Offerman, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Trustees present: Gabriela Martinez, Barry Thompson, Dennis Martin, Terry Houchens, Dick Parrish and Robin White. Also present: Dan Duffy-Village Administrator, John Harrington-Village Treasurer, Ryan Anderson-Superintendent of Public Works, Chief Justin Meyer, and Village Clerk-Orsola Evola.

As Appropriate- Administrator Duffy reminded the board and staff that the December meetings have been moved up one week. There will be ground breaking for Little Learners Day Care Facility tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.
A resident wanted to speak at this time as he missed the public forum. President Offerman allowed it. Jason Zabin from 915 Casey Drive spoke on a noise complaint that him and his neighbors have with the truck noises by Walmart. He mentioned the airgas compression and trains at night are so loud you can’t sleep with your windows open. Mr. Duffy, board and staff mentioned they will look into this matter as they have to hire an expert pertaining to the decimals. Trustee Thompson mentioned that the truck horns are something we may not be able to control but we will look into.
