XII. New/Old Business
A discussion was held regarding the opposition of the Illinois General Assembly HB5855 Protect IL Communities Act. The committee was given an example resolution from Iroquois County to oppose and gave the State's Attorney direction to draft a similar resolution to be presented to the County Board at their January 10, 2023 meeting.
A. Updated Liquor Language-Discussion Only
The updated ordinance will be presented in February by the State's Attorney.
B. Set Meeting Time
The consensus of the committee was to keep the date and time unchanged.
