CALL TO ORDER

A special meeting of the Grundy County Emergency Telephone System Board was called to order at 3:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Present: Justin Meyer (Electronic); Alicia Steffes; James Olson; Dick Joyce; Dale Watson; Nate Basham; George Lamboley; Jeff Wilson; Ken Briley; Kevin Bogard; Russ Baker; Julie Peterson; Jackie Sparrow, Jim Seerup.

There was no public comment/participation.

Motion: A motion to allow George Lamboley to attend the meeting electronically by Jeff Wilson. Motion seconded by Dale

Watson. On roll call, said motion prevailed.

Abstain: 1 (Meyer)

Absent: 1 (Lamboley)

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Motion: A motion to go into executive session at 3:38 pm. pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body was made by Dick Joyce. Motion seconded by Alicia Steffes. On roll call vote, said motion prevailed.

Motion: A motion to approve the following changes to the benefit package for the 911 Center Director was made by James Olson. Motion seconded by Dick Joyce. On roll call, said motion prevailed.

Salary: $111,500

Insurance Stipend: $5,000 annually

Vacation: 3 weeks after 90 days

4 weeks after 1 year

5 weeks after 7 years

Authorize Chairman to negotiate up to:

Vacation: 3 weeks after 90 days

4 weeks after 1 year

5 weeks after 4 years

Motion: A motion to adjourn was made at 4:30 pm by Nate Basham. Motion seconded by Dick Joyce. On roll call, said motion prevailed.
