Election of Board President

Denny Christensen & Jamie Wilkey are nominated for President. Vote in favor of Jamie Wilkey 5 to 2, Jamie Wilkey is elected President.

Jerry Olsen & Brad Male are nominated for Vice President. Vote in favor of Brad Male 5 to 2, Brad Male is elected Vice President.

Lauren Vitko is nominated for Secretary. Being the only candidate nominated for the office of Secretary, Lauren Vitko is declared elected Secretary.

  1. Tiger Pride Recipients for April: K Nicole Smetanko, 1 Barrett Fjelde, 2 Rachel Smykowski, 3 Addie Slagl, 4 Kinnzee Brown, 5 Talon Mack, 6 Riley Hall, 7 Case Christensen, 8 Ella Mack
  2. Insurance Increase: BCBS increase 1% on all plans. Since we have less than 50 employees, we are unable to negotiate prices unless we change plans. Vision increase 10% inc (0.55 - $5.80 HMO vs PPO) monthly and Vision is 6% inc (0.43) monthly
  3. Coaching vacancies for next year: ⅚ Girls’ BB, ⅚ Boys’ BB, ⅞ Boys’ BB - Our numbers for Girls’ BB are VERY low. 5th grade: 8, 6th grade: 3, 7th grade: 14, 8th grade: 5. For the ⅚ grade coach, do they only have one team? Stipend is $2,509.20
  4. Track Sectionals qualifying for State Competition this weekend!
  5. 6 applicants for Leave of Absence
  6. ESSER III Grant was amended and approved to help pay for security upgrades and we did receive the $5,000 check now from the Community Foundation.
  7. Discussion on servicing SWGS special education students
  8. Discussion on superintendent contract and salary for the 2023-2024 school year. Or can be moved to executive session if you would like to get into more detail.
Motion to adjourn into closed session to consider information regarding the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees 5ILCS 120/2C.1 and student disciplinary cases 5ILCS 120/2C.9 @ 8:26pm
