John Michealsko presented the 22/23 Audit to the board

A. Tiger Pride recipients for September K-Lorenzo Casillas, 1-Aniyah Hurley, 2-Madalyn Lukso, 3-Mora Luttrell, 4-Julius Widner, 5-Dixie Greiff, Jr High 8-Lilly Scheuber

B. Boys A Baseball - Regional Champs

C. XC Team took 3rd in Sectionals and qualified to compete at State finals 10/14

D. Recognition: Thank you to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Dept., Theresa Damron and the Gardner Fire Dept. for all of their help and participation in our Emergency Drills on 9/13/23 and 10/11/23 respectively    

E. Triple I Conference Update - I will have packets for you at the November meeting.  Hospitality Offers, (I will need to RSVP to Vezzetti luncheon on Friday, 11/17 @11:30 at Maggiano’s) Dinner will be at Fire Lake Grill House.  I need to give them our preference on Menu A or B.  Did anyone else receive emails for hospitality offers that I have not received? Preference picked B

G. Board Leader Recognition - Annual Merit Recognition Denny Christensen - Denny has served 34 years as a board member this has earned him the IASB Legacy Board Leader Recognition 

H. 97% overall parent/guardian attendance rate for the fall parent/teacher conferences K-8th grade.  Last year we were at 95% 

I. Blue and White Night is Friday, October 20, 2023

Building & Grounds update - Tuckpointing is complete, Concession stand window being replaced, Barry plumbing needs prints for valves, ballfield trees need trimmed, all windows that needed replacing is complete, estimated cost to replace cabinets in rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, ballfield fence

No Closed Session needed
