Shawna Lynn Cuddy | Ferrari Funeral Services - Coal City

Shawna Lynn Cuddy, aged 44, of Morris, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Morris Hospital. Born on November 16, 1979, in Streator, IL to Richard and Donna (nee Stadel) Kepplinger, Shawna grew up in Gardner, graduated from Gardner High School, and later attended Joliet Junior College. She married Shane Cuddy on September 6, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campus, and together they had two sons.

Shawna worked at Jacobs Engineering, Brown and Root Industrial Services, and most recently as an office manager for Worley Consulting. She enjoyed camping with loved ones, had a compassionate heart for animals, and was a dedicated mother who supported her sons wholeheartedly in their sporting activities.

Survived by her husband Shane Cuddy, sons Private Layne and Lance, mother Donna Kepplinger, sister Kristi (Doug) Phillips, brother Kevin Kepplinger, nephews Landyn, Grady, and Keaton Phillips, Colin Meece, niece Victoria Kepplinger, in-laws, and extended family.

Predeceased by her father, Richard Kepplinger.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ferrari Funeral Services in Coal City, IL, with a Funeral Service on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Campus. Pallbearers include Doug Phillips, Craig Meece, Colin Meece, Kevin Kepplinger, Jeff Lopatka, and Craig Mathison.
