John Erio | UC Davis-Callahan Funeral Home & Aqua Cremation Center
John Erio, a US Marine veteran and longtime employee of AT&T and various Bell companies, passed away at the age of 79. Known for his expertise in electrical work, John enjoyed tending to his homestead in Southern Illinois, caring for golden retrievers, and gardening. Survived by his wife Ruth of 53 years, children Elizabeth, Joshua, and Joseph, sister Patricia, granddaughter Katelyn, and great-grandchildren Michael, Alliyah, Madelyn, and Aubriee, John was remembered for instilling values of hard work, science, and a love for garlic in his family.
