Illinois Treasurer opens agriculture photo contest for students aged 8 to 18

The Illinois Treasurer's Office has announced the Cream of the Crop Photo Contest, welcoming participation from students aged 8 to 18. The objective of the contest is to capture images that best depict Illinois agriculture. Interested participants have until June 13 to submit their entries electronically via the Illinois Treasurer’s contest webpage.

The contest divides participants into three categories based on age: 8-10, 11-14, and 15-18. Prize winners in each category will be awarded Bright Start scholarships worth $1,000, $500, and $250 for the first, second, and third places, respectively. Each student is allowed to submit a maximum of two photographs.

Submissions can be made electronically through the provided link to the contest's dedicated page on the Illinois Treasurer's Office website.
