Clinton Frank Ryder, 82, remembered for his dedication to family and love of fishing

Clinton Frank Ryder, aged 82, passed away on April 18, 2025, at Serenity Gardens in Morris. Born in Morris on April 20, 1942, to Harry and Mabel Ryder, Clint was educated at Morris Community High School and served in the U.S. Army for four years. He married Evelyn Binion on April 17, 1965, and worked in farming before transitioning to various roles at Century Wholesale, DeMert & Dougherty, and Trotters Hydroponic Tomatoes and Lettuce in Coal City. Clint enjoyed retirement by fishing, crafting, and attending flea markets with his wife Evelyn and son Dennis.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn, children Dennis Ryder and Vicki Mazza, grandchildren Cara Hiatt and John Mazza, great-grandchildren Enzo and Stevie Hiatt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Clint is preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Friant, brother Gerald, and sister-in-law Jeanette.

Cremation rites have been accorded per Clint's wishes, and no services will be held. An online guestbook has been created for family and friends to share memories and photos on the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home website. Arrangements are being handled by U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home in Morris, IL.
