Friday, April 18: Coal City High School standout Payton Hutchings’ college team loses to Washington Huskies

On Friday, April 18, former Coal City High School standout Payton Hutchings’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Washington Huskies.

The game took place at Husky Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 7:05 p.m. at Husky Ballpark against Washington Huskies.
