Sue Rezin, Illinois State Senator representing the 38th District, has recently addressed a series of issues on her social media account, ranging from a tragic incident in Oswego to ongoing events and state tax policy.

On July 30, 2025, Rezin commented on a recent tragedy in Oswego. She wrote: "I am devastated by the heartbreaking news out of Oswego. My heart goes out to the family of the young child whose life was tragically lost, and I am praying for all those who were injured. I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who acted swiftly to care for".

The following day, July 31, 2025, Rezin highlighted her presence at a community event. She posted: "We are here at the Oswego Public Library for my I-Pass On Demand event. We will be here until 3 p.m. helping constituents https://t.co/10KSMuYcYs".

On August 1, 2025, she shifted focus to fiscal matters impacting Illinois residents. In her post she stated: "The Governor of Florida is talking about eliminating property taxes and providing rebate checks to homeowners. Illinois currently has the highest property taxes in the nation and just passed its largest budget yet, which includes new taxes, fees, and one-time gimmicks. At a time https://t.co/sdXPzqKcDj".

Sue Rezin has served as an Illinois State Senator since being elected in 2010 as a Republican representative for the state's 38th Senate District after replacing Gary G. Dahl.
