On July 30, 2025, Rezin commented on a recent tragedy in Oswego. She wrote: "I am devastated by the heartbreaking news out of Oswego. My heart goes out to the family of the young child whose life was tragically lost, and I am praying for all those who were injured. I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who acted swiftly to care for".
